Directions

From westbound Highway 24:

After the Caldecott Tunnel, exit Telegraph Ave.

Make a right onto Telegraph Ave going north towards the U.C. Berkeley campus (you will see the Campanile-Sather Tower in the distance). ECC will be on the right side just before Ashby. See map for parking options.

OR

Immediately after the Caldecott Tunnel, connect to Highway 13 and follow directions under “From westbound Highway 13” (see below).

Note: This route is NOT recommended during morning and afternoon commuting times.

From westbound Highway 13:

Highway 13 becomes Tunnel Rd after the off ramp.

Continue on Tunnel Rd. Tunnel Rd will become Ashby Ave near the Claremont Hotel.

Continue westward on Ashby Ave.

Make a left on Colby St OR make a left on Telegraph Ave.

From eastbound or westbound I-80:

Exit Ashby Avenue and go east.

At Telegraph Ave, make a right OR pass Telegraph Ave and make a right on Colby St. See map for parking options.

From eastbound Highway 24:

Exit Martin Luther King Jr Way / 51st St.

Make a right at the stop sign and immediately get into the left lane.

Make a left onto Telegraph Ave towards the U.C. Berkeley campus (you will see the Campanile-Sather Tower in the distance).

ECC will be on the right side just before Ashby. See map for parking options.

From westbound I-580:

Connect to Highway 24 and follow directions under “From eastbound Highway 24” (see above).

OR

Connect to Highway 13 and follow directions under “From westbound Highway 13” (see above).

From northbound I-880:

Connect to I-980 and then Highway 24.

Follow directions under “From eastbound Highway 24” (see above).

From the Bay Bridge:

Take I-80 East (Berkeley/Sacramento).

Follow directions under “From eastbound or westbound I-80” (see above).

OR

If traffic is heavy on I-80, take I-580 East (Downtown Oakland / Hayward / Sacramento). Connect to eastbound Highway 24 (Berkeley / Walnut Creek).
